Solo para conocedores del "spanenglish" (y algo de cultura futbolera uruguaya)

And once upon a time... 84 (please read “eightyfour”) years later, uruguayans go again to the first World to participate in the Olimpic Games, with the hope “high the floor” (alto el piso). Singing our songs -who nobody will understand- like our famous “go peeling the beans” (vayan pelando las chauchas) or “outsiders are made of stick” (los de afuera son de palo).
Our boys in their sky-blue T-shirts,  will put the better of themselves to bring back to the little country (paisito) the third medal. Whatever, the material does not really matter. We all prefer gold, obviously, but  silver or bronze do not be refused.  Above all, we are modest people in spite of our  brave and wellknown  “local indian claw” (read: “garra charrúa” jua). The boys are determinated to conquer London and here, in the middle of the nothing, 3 million people will watch the games on TV (read, “tivi”) with the heart on the hand, sitting besides the gas stove and drinking “mate” (que no es “meit”, olvidáte, forget it, it is a green tea...buéh, nada) and everybody, together in the same feeling and huge hugh will cheer them up as much as possible.
Drive yourself, english people! When the sky-blue plays all the world lie mouse back (todo el mundo boca abajo).
Rescue yourself, english  people! When we -the 3 million people- shout together as if we were completely insane: “I am skyblue, I am skyblue, skyblue I am”, the energy converge and cross the ocean without any problem.  We have the power, we have the hope, we have the faith...meanwhile you...you people of England...you...tan modositos... “keep calm and carry on”! Here in Uruguay, ningún “keep calm”! Here, people is bloody crazy (el “bloody” lo metí porque es tan british!), as crazy to believe that the famous strategy “win-win” was created thinking about us!
The skyblue will win and all of you, mother fucker, can go to cry to the little room! Can you find it? It is close to Lola’s house, yeah, go quickly and Lola is gonna heal you! Sorry, one more thing a friend of mine is telling me right know and it is really important: if you dont' find Lola...you can look for Hortensia because Lola is on vacation! Touché!
